Lisa Daron Grossman, founder of The Connection Cure, has made it her life’s work to listen, learn, and engage in conversations around loneliness, connection, and compassion. A native New Yorker, she is currently living on the road full-time as part of her cross-country human engagement journey, exploring face-to-face connection as a catalyst for healing and wellness. For the past three years she has been traveling across the U.S. meeting strangers and listening to stories of loneliness, love, and belonging, challenging people to notice more moments of connection in their daily lives.

Lisa works as a speaker and facilitator on the road, hosting events that aim to take the stigma out of loneliness, while sharing information about the science of connection. She has been a certified Professional Coach for over a decade, and is a practitioner of Positive Psychology. She holds her MFA in creative non-fiction writing, a certificate in Mind-Body Medicine and is currently part of a year-long applied compassion training at Stanford’s Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education.

Prior to coaching, Lisa worked with storytelling for over ten years, as a documentary filmmaker, a copywriter for the Smithsonian channel, a New York City tour guide, and a professional team builder. She has been asked to speak at workshops, wellness seminars, non-profits and Universities across the country, and she was selected to speak at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
